Spam or serendipity?..... I am going to pop in. The marbly tube skirt is half price. I think the others, black, striped, and that cool geometric are regular but you get $10, $20, $30 off depending on how much you spend....maybe more off with Bay card. I picked up a striped one last year, but it's not midi length. I think the black one is calling my name. Thanks for posting these. You look fab. I've owned (and even made my own) tube skirts before and NOTHING fits this good. Upon close inspection, I noticed that VC tube skirts are made of stable jerseys (lining and main fabric) and I think it's a skirt I can construct myself... Unfortunately I'm swamped with work and school! I thank YLF for this and I'm glad I had an open mind about this style!</p> <p>@neel: really sad about that dress! I don't think there's a way to alter this because I'm a freak with an extremely short torso! I was particularly on a lookout for a shift dress for the summer, but I thought I'd try a few things, particularly the YLF-recommended Vince Camuto tube skirt. I was wondering what your thoughts are on one, some or all of the outfits. Sometimes I'm too wrapped up in my body dysmorphia to tell!</p> <p>1. Vince Camuto Shift: does this make me look like a brick or bigger than I am? I love the pattern, and if I were to get this, I'd hem it to near mini-dress length. The long length just reads matronly muu muu to me.</p> <p>2. Vince Camuto faux wrap top and tuBeskirt: WHERE WAS I WHEN YLF WAS GOING NUTS ABOUT THIS TUBE SKIRT? I once said I'm NOT a separates girl and skirts only make me look dumpy. Oh boy, not this! I'm a convert. I sooo wish they had this in black. Should I consider separates now? At least with this skirt? I wonder how they work with tunics and long tops?</p> <p>3. Same ad #2 but with a print top, plain bottom: is should stick to plain black tops and print bottoms for flattery. Then again the tube skirt is a size too small.</p> <p>4. #3 topped with my LOFT moto</p> <p>5. Vince Camuto tube skirt with a Calvin Klein faux wrap top: top is kind of meh...</p> <p>6. Forgot the brand: but isn't this dress just AWESOME??? I've been wanting to do black and yellow for a long this and this dress would've been perfect except it's NOT a petite dress notice the excess folded fabric on the waist? That's how most dresses fit on me Shame because I really really love this dress!</p> <p>7. Maggy London: the best-fitting shift I've seen so far. The fabric is a knit, and it's light and airy. And IT GOES WITH THE BOOTS SO WELL!!!!</p> <p>8. #7 with my moto</p> <p>#9: Ann Taylor shift: again, I'm concerned about looking like a brick. It's a belly-skimming style which is fab, but it's too long that it looks matronly. </p> <p>Any feedback would be welcomed! </p>
