I’ll take elegant steampunk! I’ve got my eye on some lace up ankle boots - which have been featured in a lot of fashion edits here. I was also thinking about a stiff (petticoat/bustle) midi skirt with a fitted cropped jacket. Stacked belts over the jacket. Not as costume like as it sounds! I like the look and I’ve been playing around with it a bit at home.</p> <p>Going out to dinner with my husband I wore this sleeveless knit/sweater dress that is a couple of years old. I know people think sleeveless knit dresses are seasonally confused but they work for me because I overheat in long sleeved sweater dresses. But I do love the look and feel of a knit. I can make it work with layers. (It’s not that cold - I am also wearing bare legs.) It also allows me to change up the look with different underlayers. </p>
