But I think what it boils down to is that I would probably only do black for a winter, urban type wedding - and that is totally a personal choice thing, YMMV. Don't forget that the dining rooms are air conditioned and you may need a light wrap. And for the men - a few tuxes, but mostly dark suits or dark jackets and slacks. I haven't been to a beach vacation (although I've been on several cruises) but I've heard others say that something long or fitted that won't get blown around by the wind are smart choices. I don't want to wear certain sheath dresses because they make me feel like I should be in the office. Others don't appeal to me because they're too juvenile. Still others look like they're meant for mother-of-the-bride.</p> <p>What would a posh eclectic gal wear in warm weather? What type of frock is appropriate for a beach? I will have to wear flats for that, because sand is hard to walk in. </p>
