Well most silk is easily hand washed I find, so my silk cycle does it for me. I have never ruined a shirt! You have to roll them in a towel after to get out the water, and then just hang to dry. They dry fast!</p> <p>I do this for wool pants, wool and cashmere sweaters, and even my leather trimmed items. I've never dry cleaned an item. Works great!</p> <p>Unfrumped, It appears in the photo that the top is opaque enough, because I would only want a nude bra under it...no camis. I have a long sleeves silk blouse from CM and it works fine with just a bra.</p> <p>I can't make up my mind. I keep going back and forth. On the one hand I think the shell is higher on my list and would be worn more. I do like the small cap sleeve, I don't like when it's cut too high, so that's a big plus....I kind wish it didn't have buttons though. The dress is great, love the zips, but DH thinks I will barely wear it. I think it would be very versatile, but maybe I'm wishing. Man I am horrible with decisions....this is why I keep my closet to a minimum! One thing I forgot to mention is that I think I need the silk shell more, but I'm also willing to get a cheap version, polyester at like $30 would suit me fine. But I cannot find ANy so far! So while I'm looking my size goes fast on CM. So I do sort of prefer to get the dress and hunt for a cheaper shell, but also, I really like this shell and have had no luck finding an alternative so far.
