They may work if you're not used to wearing shorts and want to ease into it.</p> <p>Interestingly, I found that Bermudas covered my "problem" areas but turned out to be less comfy and flattering than a 6-in inseam - mid-thigh on me. I had to ease into wearing shorts with the Bermudas, though. But please don't feel restricted to things like that, because you have nothing at all to cover up. Sadly, kids will tease about absolutely anything. Had you not been teased about your legs, it would have been something else (that was completely normal and not strange or unusual at all); there is no truth in the things people are teased about. I was teased for my height and my hair while in school, and while I cannot change my stature, my husband prefers short women. And the hair? I found leaving high school and getting into a bigger group helped to increase my confidence and my realisation it waa just young people being petty and trying to feel better about themselves by putting others down. Show them proudly. If you want to cover them, linen pants work well. As long as my ankles are not covered I am usually cool enough, so crops work well. If you don't want you legs to be noticed, wear bright colors, pattern, or bling on top to draw the eye up.
