Love the second and the third, and love them withthe denim jackets. For using nr 3 go on a dressier occasion you can always pair it with some (block/wedge/stiletto) heels, and more glam accessories (cuff, earing). Dress nr 1 was not that bad really(do not even understand what the problem was??) but would have been also better with some kitten heels and a white cover up/ pashmina scarf(?) Nr. 2 is my fave but long sleeves in the heat....can be tricky!

You are adorable in all of these - I didn't see the fit issue with the first one, but if your spidey sense was tingling, then returning was the right option for sure!

Thank you! I returned the Trina Turk and decided to hold on to the ML for a week or so to see if I wanted to wear it. That's usually a good indicator for me and how I sometimes decide whether or not to keep something I'm not sure about.

The second and third. The first is too short to be au courant. Also, the back of the first dress is dressier than the front...

The last one looks too casual for the graduation and photos. I like the shorter jscket best The dropped waist on the first dress may make it look off. I like the bp shirt dress better than the first for you.

If it makes you feel better, the graduates will be much more uncomfortable in their big black polyester robes in the beating sun!
But I digress...
My favorite is the last one too, love that color The Angie dress is nice, but definitely too hot for summer!

I am not a fan of the first dress either - I think the print looks overwhelming. The other three are lovely on you and I like both the ML and Nic and Zoe with your cropped jackets. The Nic and Zoe is a perfect warm weather dress, I am so glad that this is a definite keep.

As for whether to keep the ML dress, that is a tough one, because it is beautiful on you. Trying something that is outside my normal style is generally hit and miss for me. At time, they can be the best purchases int terms of worn a lot and adds a new dimension to my wardrobe. Or alas, they can be orphans. If you do keep, I think you need to make a style resolution to be on team wear.

Basically agree with your conclusions - ML looks great, last one is great casual option, graduations should be in the shade!

Thanks for confirming my suspicions on 1. It’s funny because I thought it would be perfect when I tried a different size in store—those mirrors can be deceiving! I have a sleeveless Boden dress that’s casual but not as casual as the Nic and Zoe, and I guess I’ll plan on that unless I get a second wind and can handle a bunch more returns. Thanks for the validation in the jacket lengths. I have such a hard time finding cropped jackets. Glad that these work! I think I like the ML enough to keep it. I don’t have anything like it and it has sleeves...

I agree - the first is not right.

Love the last one - definitely my favourite on you.

I like both of the sleeved midis - but not as much as the Nic and Zoe.

Whyyyyyy do they have to have graduations outside when it’s sooooo hot???

I like the color on #1, but agree the fit is a little off. ( plus w my luck I’d end up sunburned in the back cut out. )

Dress on the right in #3 is great w your coloring

I love #4, both alone and w jackets.

I had 4 days of graduation events last year, and found I was most comfortable in a St. John dress - the knit was breathable and with nothing constricting, I could sit in the heat and be ok. I was surprised, but it worked out.

I love the Nic & Zoe on you, and I also really like the Angie dress as well. I’m not a big fan of the first one—you are way cuter than it is. Something about the cut is off.

I LOVE the Nic & Zoe on you - so cute ! The shorter jacket looks better in terms of proportion , but you could easily get away with both . The first dress is lacking in waist definition , which I know isn’t necessarily a must , but something is off here . And re the ML - I know it’s a forum fav but the mismatched pattern right down the front makes me nuts . Other than that it’s a super flattering dress on you

I ordered a bunch of dresses for a few upcoming events and while I thought they were slam dunks initially, now that I've taken some full length pictures, I'm no longer sure. I would love your opinions. I have a ton of stuff to return but am paralyzed with indecision. I'll add photos in a few minutes.

First up is a Trina Turk I ordered in multiple sizes trying to get it right only to wonder whether it's even flattering enough. This would be for DD graduation which is going to be sizzling, mid day, no shade. I was miserable in the sheath I wore last time. I thought this would be breezy and wouldn't show sweat. Keep or keep looking?

Second is the floral midi for my dress capsule. The ML that Angie has is a better quality for sure but I wonder if the BP shirt dress is more my style and whether I should wait for a better quality shirt dress.

Third is Nic and Zoe asymmetric dress. It's a perfect summer dress for me. I think it's a keep. My question is do both jackets work? I'd wear this to graduation if it wasn't so casual looking... but there will be pictures and I don't think this is going to look appropriate. WDYT?
