Of course they need fab, stylish folks like Angie to work directly with helping outfit clients, but they have lots of other needs too.</p> <p>For example, I'm working on the grant-writing team. They also need lots of behind-the-scenes help with things like sorting donated clothing, making client appointments, taking care of paperwork, collecting donated clothing from drop-off points, etc. </p> <p>One of the things that I love so much about this organization is that it is so much more than simply giving a woman a suit. It's all about helping women and their families break out of the cycle of poverty and unemployment by supporting their efforts to find and maintain meaningful employment. Our chapter has a monthly support group for ladies who've found a job. The group helps the women learn how to deal with the challenges of juggling a job with childcare, meal preparation, budgeting and so forth. </p> <p>Really - I get so excited about it I can hardly contain myself.
