I took them the white floral dress and they agreed to credit my account to honor the sale price, even though it’s past the 10-day window, since I had brought the dress with tags and receipt with me (I think it helped that I had just bought two other dresses from them). He loved it even before I had it zipped all the way up! </p> <p>Interestingly, his second favorite is the white floral sheath — he loves the fit and doesn’t find it too tight at all (I may have lost a couple of pounds in the last few weeks, which helps). </p> <p>His next favorite choice was the embroidered blue floral sheath, and last was the blue Tadashi Shoji with the embroidered pattern down the sides (not available in Finds, sorry). But he liked them all. If I’d never shown him the others, he would have loved the T.S. dress! But his opinion was based on his favorites being less predictable and having more “wow” factor than the usual basic sheath shape. </p> <p>I’ll take the Nicole Miller dress to the tailor to see about alteration. I’m wondering if it might not be a bad idea to keep one of the other two WH/BM dresses since I’ve had such trouble finding “occasion” dresses in the past and I now have several good options, at very reasonable price points. I’ll return the T.S. dress. But I’ll need to decide on the others soon because the WH/BM return window will close in a few weeks. </p>
