Elbe- to be honest, I don't want dressing room lighting for the very reason you stated.. you always look nice in it. That isn't reality. I want to see how I look in natural lighting. I just use full length mirrors that you can get at Home Depot or Target, or Bed Bath and Beyond. If you want to add lighting, just get a bar type bathroom light fixture to hang over the mirror. You want the lighting in your dressing room to show you what others are going to see.

It is to go in my dressing room - I converted a spare room to a closet. I don't have a full length mirror but need one. The lighting is also a concern. I love the look of the TJ Maxx mirrors and lighting - they must use a special spectrum bulb b/c you always look nice in it.

I got a freestanding full-length mirror from Crate & Barrel a few years ago. It seems to work better for me than one that goes straight on the wall. Is this to go somewhere in your closet, or just nearby?

I recently redid my closet and am now looking for a full length dressing mirror. I would preferably like a tri-fold mirror but probably don't have the space for it. I am also concerned about the lighting. I really like the new dressing room mirrors and lights at TJ Maxx but they said they cannot divulge their source to "the public". Has anyone found a fabulous dressing mirror/lighting that they would recommend? My searches on the web have been less than fruitful.
