If I gain/lost half a pound, my black pencil skirt will not fit. It is very frustrating. I also find that dress pants show every little gain/loss as well.

Certain dress styles and A-line skirts are forgiving and cooperative during weight fluctuations.

I wish it were jeans. Definitely jeans. Finding a good pair is a pain to me, and with my weight loss, it usually gets too loose after a month. Ah, I sooo want to reach my goal size so I won't have to change my wardrobe every few weeks!

I think that cardigans are a really flexible item and of course shoes and handbags!

I think what is difficult is constantly having to update staple items - like jeans.

Wrap dresses are the best invention ever for body changes. Virtually every measurement is adjustable depending on how you tie it and there's a built in buffer zone of several inches up or down in sizing. Not to mention they are comfortable while conveying a very polished image which I believe is the most important thing about moving through body changes with style and confidence.

People on this forum have undergone all kinds of changes to their bodies, weight loss and gain, pregnancy, etc. Some of you who have undergone these changes have found some items of clothing that work well for you, but I imagine you also thought of things you were lacking that really and truly adjusted to your body.

What are some dream items that you wish were out there that would endure part or all of the journey with you so you didn't have to buy new clothes all the time? I'm thinking of some basic staples.
