I will ponder the summer sleeve issue and think about whether a dress like this will get wear. I think it will, because when I was trying it on this morning, I actually wished the weather were warmer so I could just wear it today. (It's actually about 40 and was raining and snowing earlier, so definitely not ready for light dresses and sandals yet!) That's a good sign. I will try it on with various shoes too. I like this combination a lot, but I wonder how it will look with, say, the new All Black pointed flat sneakers (below in my Finds). The stock photo shows the model wearing flat slip-on sneakers with the dress, and I like the easy casual look of that, but I'm nowhere near as tall and willowy as the model, not to mention I'm a lot older, so I'm not sure the sneaker look will translate as "cool" on me the way it does on her. I just want to avoid any hint of frumpy when styling this. I think the sneakers could work because they are so obviously trendy fashion sneakers and not gear-ish in the least.
