So the silver ones (that Tanya has and Inge was going to get) are softer, right? Well done research! I just checked the Zappos box and the color is indeed "Black illusion". It was listed as "black" on the site when I bought it. I definitely prefer the softer leather - they are very comfortable and supple. The black ones (endless) are the original style so maybe the black illusion are the softer leather? The cherry ones I tried were also the original style and a stiffer leather. Inge's silver ones are the softer leather. Having felt both leathers now, I much prefer the softer feel. Check the color on your docs and see if they are black illusion. They arrived today, and while the smaller size is not going to work, I was a little puzzled, because the leather looked very different from the other (bigger size) pair I got from Zappos. It's more shiny and also a lot stiffer and uncomfortable. The Zappos pair is very soft. I am sending back the Endless pair, but I was just curious why it is so different. Is the stiff leather more "real"? Should I order a stiff pair from Endless in bigger size? I'd love to hear your experience and/or thoughts. </p>
