I have two pair. The Marcies fit just great. The Saras are on the large side for me, and in those I could perhaps have worn the UK4, but I was worried about my toe hitting the toebox (they have relatively high heels) for all day wearing. In the dead of winter there is enough room in them for me to be able to wear 2 pairs of socks or my thick hiking socks. I have three pairs now - the Doc Marcie's wedge heel lace up mid calf boot, the Doc Saras black/white heeled oxfords, and the Doc Danielle animal print shoes (exact same shoes as the Saras). They don't have half sizes and use the UK sizing. Should I size up or down? I currently wear size 6(US) in sandals or 6.5 (US) shoes. I'm eyeing a few shoes on Ebay too. </p>
