Rute, why don't you wait a little longer for the PERFECT leather jacket. I am sure that hubby's generous offer will stand the test of time

I love #2 and feel it is more casual so it will depend on the primary use of the jacket. I can see why #1 would be harder to wear. Perhaps try the one your husband liked one more time and see if you love it. If not, let the search continue for a perfect jacket.

I vote keep looking as well. I think #1 is more difficult to fit due to the boxiness. #2 is really, really nice though.

Kim speaks perfect sense - if you don't feel it's perfect, then don't get it. Keep looking!

I'm busty, and #1 wouldn't be the best shape on me, either.

For what it's worth, except for the length, these are completely different styles with
different vibes. #1 Classic and modern #2 RATE and more casual.
Both beautiful but if you're in doubt after trying them on maybe waiting until you're
really 100% thrilled.

I think you should wait until you find one that is fab AND you love! If it were me I'd always be a little unhappy wearing my "second" choice. If he had just bought it for you and you'd never seen the grey one it would be different, but since you KNOW the grey one is out there it might take a little joy out of wearing the black one.

There are so many jackets out there one is waiting just for you. Tell hubby he's not off the hook, you are just delaying the purchase to find the *perfect* jacket, (which will probably look a lot like the grey one! LOL)

I vote keep looking.

It would be helpful for us to see photos of you trying these great jackets!
I am inclined to vote for #2 if the first one doesn't look its best when undone, because most of us wear them mainly unzipped, I think.

Rute I adore #1 ... Is it grey? It looks black. #2 is also stunning and I think the color would work for you. As a fellow, petite with a large bust, I understand how #1 would not work for you open. I have a (not leather) jacket cut very similar to #2 and it is very flattering on me so I can also see how good you would look in #2. However you need to love it. Why don't you go and try on again and take a few photos.

I'm quick making decisions but this time I couldn't..
My hubby wanted to give me a present (don't argue with that :)
I tought of a grey leather jacket I saw on a manequim and loved (1).
When I tried, he didn't loved the way it fit (the smaller number was big), or maybe, as I have chest, the neckline wasn't the best for me.. because it look good when closed but we didn't liked when opened.
He wanted me to try 2 and loved, I must admit the fit was perfect, it's a jacket I can wear on the winter under my long coats, perfect for my dresses but...
my heart was with the grey one..

any comments that might help?
