You are right - the proportions are wrong, the vests need to be shorter for this length of tunic. I'm thinking that the tunic needs to be longer with the jacket, more of a short dress. I love your jacket and it's shown with a really short tunic. I'll look for something like that and try it. Love it on you. The jacket is a nice fit and the length creates nice proportions to me eye. <br />The two vests look a bit long for this short-over-long approach you've tried. <br />I would try those vests over a knee-length dress and over an outfit where the top is tucked or shorter, to see how they work. <br />I'm short-waisted, and I find a cropped denim jacket is useful, too, for short-over-long type outfits. Mine is in Finds below. I wear the shirts often, so I decided to challenge myself with the vests and unwearable jacket. I think I definitely need to find more flattering vests and jackets in denim that work with my short waist.
