Delurked inspired this post. </p> <p>As many of you know I love my wadrobe and wearing it. There was a time when I hated wearing clothing and dressing up. It became a chore because I was dressing for my ex and their approval. The same thing with how I wore my hair. How I walked and talked. Everthing was watched and critiqued. I started to think about that even when I was a soldier. I would tell my troops. Follow your heart and mind especially the women. It was challenging back in my day. Lol I would say "look out for the dream stealer and joy killer".<br /> These people are very sad and will make you sad right along with them. They have no joy because they have been beat down by circumstances or life. They cannot see beyond their vally experiences and want to drag you into the valley also. I pray for these people and try to be kind along with trying to stay away from them because of their toxicity. They could be family or friends or colleagues.<br /> I used to have people come up and randomly grab my hair or make disparaging comment about what I wore. You know what I decided not to take that. It is not alright for someone to invade your personal space or offer unwanted criticism while trying to be "nice nasty". No, this will not be tolerated. </p> <p>I now walk in my joy, allowing my dreams to manifest. We must choose to be positive and surround ourself with the light instead of darkness. </p> <p>Don't ever let anyone be a joy taker or dream killer. That is all. </p>
