You mention that you aren't wearing your items enough, so perhaps there is not much that is beginning to show signs of wear?  You might try creating capsules. I'm not spending enough time to do this at the moment, but things have worked the best when I do capsules that are intended for 4-6 weeks. I have Holiday, Deep Winter, Hope of Spring (where I am now), Cool Spring, Warm Spring/Early Summer, High Summer, Late Summer, Early Autumn, Cool Autumn. Jenni NZ on "Doh! I do think in outfits Ledonna but with my lovely big walk-in wardrobe in the new house we built in 2018 there is enough space to have everything out at once so I can look at the tops section and the pants are hanging just below, more or less. And it also depends, with tiny tweaks, on the weather that day. Today is 4th day of autumn for us and just slightly cooler, plus raining which we badly need, so I wore loafers with socks for only the second time this year. I hope my old pants are not sad Rachy... I wanted more summer pants as mine were getting tired. When I went shopping for some I pulled out my lists of clothing as to what I could wear with them and was a bit pleasantly surprised at how many black and white items I had. So yes, definitely helped with wearing the lacy black overshirt and the new black top which was bought for the Laura Ashley skirt. I intend to wear the pants into autumn too with warmer black tops. Helena, I am trying to do a one-in and several out actually but it isn’t exactly the same sort of thing necessarily. I did edit out one pair of summer pants which were dying and had had ( yay) 55 wears. Thanks Preppy Pear! The above seems obvious, right? I have bought nothing since 7 December in terms of clothes and shoes. But I did put some items bought in 2019 for the upcoming summer into rotation. Not many...the black and white snakeskin pants bought in October, and the black Veronica Maine top bought last May on sale. Then I carried on with my own personal challenge, which is similar to Runcarla’s and Jenn’s: to wear everything in my wardrobe and to wear them all 30 times at least before considering editing. Of course this is a little more tricky to do with approx 160 items of shoes and clothing. Doh!-again. So, I love the snakeskin pants. They’ve now had 14 wears. They took a bit of warming up to at first- I am not used to statement pants, but do really enjoy monochrome so have got adjusted to it as I’ve kept wearing. And now less sure what I was scared of? But what do you know? All my old summer pants are getting fewer wears. 3 of them are already well past 30 wears so trying to get there with some older ones that had been less favoured but I still like. I guess those are not fast fall-back items so need more thought. Have reached 30 on the trusty mesh tops. And wore my old Laura Ashley skirt from 2010 one day!
