I enjoy the drapey top in #1-2 and don't think it looks too voluminous, especially with the black skinnies. I have a general lack of appreciation for lace, so I will leave that to others, though I do think the scale is balanced by the color tie-in to the pants and neckline. I also happen to really like how #3 looks. I think if I were going to be just hosting a casual event later in the day, I'd go with #1, but if I were to be cooking or being active in the event, I'd go with #3. I like the silvery-gray fabric, and the drape is divine. This is "waist surrendering" in the best sense. I agree that it's supposed to be drapey and doesn't look too big, and the volume is fine with skinny jeans. The cuffs are unexpected, and personally my eye would take some adjustment to the scale, but I like that they coordinate with the black layer under the top.
