This jacket is perfect over dresses and flared skirts too.

I think this is the perfect fit for a cheeky, cropped jacket. The arms and shoulders look big enough and the back is not pulling in any way. It should be fine with a fitted underlayer and will be a great showcase for scarves. Nice!

Edited to remove 2 of 3 *perfects*.

It looks great.

For comfort, can you stretch and move your arms without strain? That's the real test.

And it will loosen up a bit with time; they always do.

It looks like it fits you well! As long as you don't plan to wear heavy layers underneath, I think it's great. I have jackets that fit like this, and then a couple that are a bit roomier (leftover from before I lost weight) that I keep for layering heavier sweaters underneath.

I think the fit of this is spot on - the shoulders fit well which IMO, is the key area in a jacket. You're not planning on doing it up anyway, so I think it's a keeper. Gorgeous jacket!

It looks especially great from the back. Is that the exact same outfit in all pics? I'm only have trouble with pic#1 where I think it's more the fit of the shirt that's bugging me. It seems too loose and maybe not long enough to wear with this jacket. But in other photos it looks fine so I'm not sure why, assuming it's all the same shirt...

I think that it fits your shoulders and arms well. In the body it looks fitted, but not too small in my opinion. If you are planning to wear it open with a lighter top underneath, like you say, I think you're good to go

What a pretty jacket! If it's not uncomfortable and you're happy with the way you're wearing it and don't need extra room for warmer layers, keep.

I just bought this tan faux leather moto jacket from H&M ($220), size M (6-8) it was love at first sight! While I personally feel that it fits me well, snugly as it should for this style, I'm now thinking it might 'look' small although it isn't really, possibly because it's a cropped style?

Also I don't wear it closed because it gets squashy above and I plan to add a scarf instead. I can wear it with a regular long sleeved top and not a sweater or anything of a thicker material as its fitted on the arms. This is fine by me as I layer pretty well with thermal wear and anyhow this is more of a transitional piece. I couldn't go up a size as it got very roomy in the arms and sat unflatteringly at the shoulders.

(The photographs don't do justice to the jacket as I had to take them indoors)
