It's similar to my light wash denim jacket, which comes in handy for dressing down a dress or throwing on when I need a light layer on a cool summer morning, etc. </p> <p>Definitely does not look overdone or "trying too hard" or anything like that. It kinda makes my heart go pitter patter. I have two denim jackets currently. One is faded (not this much) and slightly distressed while the other one is a darker wash, more classic jacket. I almost never reach for the darker one. Not sure why. Maybe the color makes me feel that it's too matronly/classic, hence not enough of a juxtaposition to my style, which skews Modern Classic? But then Anna confused me in her post about denim jackets and "cool moms." </p> <p>Uh oh, would this jacket look like I am trying to be a cool mom?
