Particularly if they are selling several named brands. You can takle it to Trading standards and they will test it. Alternatively send it to Chanel (or at least contact them). They are very keen to weed out fakers so will be very helpful. Second, a Chinese seller of Chanel bags is a HUGE red flag. Why even take the risk? If the price is too good to be true, it IS too good to be true. Even individuals selling a used Chanel know what they have and what it is worth.&nbsp;</p> <p>Either check with the purseforum and find a trusted reseller if you are looking to buy used, or buy new from a reputable location or site (major department store, Chanel, etc.). DO NOT spend that amount (whatever it is, it isn't going to be cheap) and just hope for the best. The real issue I think is if they send you a fake bag, what can do if you are not happy with your bag?<br />I am fortunate to own a Chanel bag and it came with a Carte D'Authenticite - which certifies the authenticity of the bag (is plastic like a credit card). &nbsp;My bag also came with an envelope with the serial number of my particular bag and details about Chanel. &nbsp;The problem is, I am sure that the fake bags also have fake authentication documentation. &nbsp;I purchased my handbag from a Chanel store and they guaranteed the workmanship of the bag and said that the straps of the bag can be replaced.
