Beth, even though the AT skirt does have a vent, I still recommend it for tights-wearing sans slip.</p> <p>This is not a recommendation I make lightly because I have the exactly same issue with most unlined skirts when combined with tights and it drives me crazy. For some reason, this fabric doesn't bunch up or creep over my tights. So far, I have worn it with pantyhose, with thicker cotton tights, and with some quite thick bamboo tights.</p> <p>Frances, it sounds like your search might have to go on if the vertical seams don't work for you. I don't have that particular skirt but I do have a denim skirt that I got at the Gap outlet last year. I've had no trouble with it shrinking. I wash it in cold water with regular detergent and line-dry. After it's completely air-dried sometimes I'll toss it in the dryer for a low-heat tumble to fluff it up but usually that's not even necessary.
