Every time I became obsessed about any color, I start to buy everything in it. Like last year I was obsessed with grey, so I bought myself 2 pair of grey pumps, 2 grey T-shirt, grey sweater, grey jeans, grey cardigan, grey pearls, grey scarf, grey handbag, grey trousers and grey sandals. This year I feel like I need add something purple, so I started with purple sweater, amethyst ring, amethyst bracelet ... ypu got hte idea. I also had a time period where I had like six brown shirts of various styles and it seems like I wore brown every week almost all week. On the plus side, during these seasons everything I owned was flattering and I didn't have much problem with my basics going with everything. Sometimes I did get tired of the color by the end of the season or two-- but by then the pieces had gotten lots of wear. I think with something like tomato red (especially that sheath) is something that you can put away for a little while if you tire of it and pull it back out or remix it in a fresh way next season.
