I have added Dr. Schools arch support insoles inside, and that has solved the issue for me. They are still a bit too flat, but now it's just very mildly annoying.

I wanted to provide an update on the MIA flats, which I loved the look of but not the super-flatness. I took them to the cobbler and had him add just a little bit of height; he couldn't just add some at the heel but actually added a very low wedge. This totally fixed it, they are super comfortable now (I wore them for whole days while walking around in the city) and I don't worry anymore about ruining the back of the shoe. It cost a pretty penny, though ($35). But they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes now due to the lovely yellow and the level of comfort. Tanya, what's your experience been like?

So they have justs arrived and they are very cute!
http://s300.photobucket.com/al.....CN2920.jpg

Very comfy, but indeed too flat, as Antje said previously. I'll bring them to the cobbler to add extra layer of rubber on the heel and thus lift them up a bit from the ground.

Antje, I think the heel issue is something they can fix at a cobbler.

Yeah, I'm not going to buy another yellow pair... And I still enjoy the look of the MIAs (and as someone pointed out, the airiness is nice with the perforated leather.) But you hit the nail on the head, it's a bit like walking barefoot. Do you think that they can stick heels on them, or is that crazy??

Yeah, those green Enzo Angiolini ones were worth the money. I had them at home for 2 weeks before making the final decision (while receiving several Endless, Piperlime and Zappos packages with green flats... I'm pretty sure I tried every green flat they had... but none came even close to these...)

I heart colorful flats!

Thanks Antje! Well I have already ordered them, so I'll see. I do not do well with super-flat flats tough ( I need a bit of lift and a bit of padding too), so they may not work for me. Please do keep us posted on the possibility of adding a little lift, I might have to do the same as well. Maybe the cobbler could add a thick-ish rubber layer at the heel? Bummer.

I love those green shoes, but the price is a bit high for me right now considering I need a few different pairs of shoes for the summer.

Sorry to hear that, Antje. I hear you on "flat" flats. That’s like walking barefoot. I love, LOVE you in your new green shoes. I think they are my favourite shoes you own! VERY FAB. They have them in yellow (*hint*), but I know you have the Mia's.

Yohoo, Antje here. So sorry for chiming in late, but I actually got a little disappointed with them. Here is the deal: they are super comfortable, and they look great (I have the yellow ones, love the color), but they are extremely FLAT. I wear flats almost exclusively, but they are flats and there are flats. Many flats have a tiny little heel - less than 1/2 inch, but just some small amount that lifts you off the ground a bit. These MIA Eclipse flats have zero heel, which I actually find a bit, well, not uncomfortable, but a little unnatural. It's also really not good for the shoe; I found that the back of the shoes already show sign of wear, because they actually touch the ground. I am actually considering taking them to a shoe repair store to see if they can put a tiny little heel on them, to fix these issues.

So this is something to think about. If you're happy with flats that are truly flat (like true ballet flats) they will be great for you. But if you like to have your heel just a little bit above the ground, you might want to consider looking further (but I will keep you updated on what the shoe repair store says re: adding a heel; I definitely have no other fit or comfort issues with them.)

I did want to recommend these flats, which I own in kelly green: http://www.endless.com/Enzo-An.....e=mythings They are pricier, but they are also super comfortable, have that little bit of a heel that makes the difference, and they awesome. They are a bit more "polished" than the MIAs. I wear them all the time now with blue jeans and plan to wear them with my white jeans and skirt. Can't wait. They are super fab and come in a variety of colors as well.

Antje recommended them to me as well when I was looking for yellow flats. She said they were super comfortable. They would be great for summer because of the open holes as well. The only reason I didn't go for it was that I wanted a more intense yellow color than the marigold. I would definitely go for them in cream though!

I was wondering if anyone here has Mia Eclipse shoes, I am curious how comfortable they are. I sort of remember some discussion about them few weeks ago. I am considering them in cream:
