I do this every time they cast a new Doctor, but this time I'm so excited they cast the amazing Jodie Whittaker and I'm praying they don't muck it up. <ul> <li>I love the colour scheme. It's rich, it's unexpected and it suits her.&nbsp;</li> <li>I quite like the coat, which looks to have some interesting details, but I'd prefer more structure. This looks like a bathrobe.</li> <li>I'm not wild about the trousers and boots. Both are nice on their own, but they don't look good together.</li> <li>I hate the braces. Sorry, they're gimmicky. They don't suit her.</li> </ul> Overall, I'm ok with her looking a bit dorky, that's in character. She does look rather juvenile, but with a pleasing explorer/scientist vibe. It's not bad for a first outing, but there's room for improvement. Lots of it.</p> <p><b>PS: </b>in British English, suspenders are garter belts. If she's wearing suspenders, we don't need to know about it.
