I tried some similar ones in the Doc Martens store once and even walking around the store I had trouble to keep them on my feet. And they definitely weren't too big. That said, they do look lovely.

Yeah - it's that bunion area that is always a concern with flats. I have bunions on both feet and if the shoe catches in the wrong spot - OUCH! Thanks for your wisdom DC :)

Lisa - there's precious few opportunities to buy Doc Martens in Canada. SoftMoc carries some though. It might be worth checking out.

Gonna pass on these and keep looking.

I bought a pair of flat similar to those a few years ago and it absolutely killed my feet because they don't stretch out (got me at my bunion bone area and I don't even have bunions). And a reminder, they don't come in half sizes.

Only small sizes left. Which you are, I know. Do other retailers sell these that you've seen? This is worth checking into further. I really really like these/

Hey! I'd wear those! I didn't know Dr M made flats. These are totally interesting to me because of the sole. Clicking over to check the price. I need comfy non-heels asap.

I think my orthotic would work if I sized up. Of course you never know until you try them, right?

I haven't tried them simply because of my traditional problems with flats, but I recall a few years ago in a spring season they did shoes like this in vivid, fun colours. I was very attracted then. It looks like these could be comfy to anyone who can wear a flat in the first place. Would an orthotic fit in there do you think?

I would like to find a pair of flats for both casual and work wear that work for my high volume, slightly wide, fussy feet. Y'all know that Doc Martens work brilliantly for my feet and as much as I love their stompy boots, I find their shoes can look a bit too clunky and unrefined for my style.

They do have a pair of black patent flats though that have possibility http://unionjackboots.com/wome.....amper.html. I really like the light colored sole and the shine. Has anybody seen/tried these IRL?
