Lol, Kate. I have a related superpower: I make all pants magically grow on the way home from the shops...

My body has special magic powers when it comes to jeans. They fit perfectly in the am but by afternoon my butt has disappeared thanks to my pants bagging out, and I can pull them off without unzipping. It's a power that holds true across brands from high end to low. Sigh.

For me it's totally the opposite! My clothing looks super fly when I put it on, but then during the day becomes loose and unfitting. Bah!

Rachy I love your posts!!
I think my whole being needs to settle down. Sometimes things fit, sometimes they don't. I may start the day loving my top and halfway through we have a divorce. I can only hope for reconciliation at some point or it gets shipped out.

I have jeans that are tight when I put them on in the morning, but then stretch out to fit perfectly. They're really comfortable once they settle in. If I buy what I think is the right size, they stretch out and become too big, so I have learned my lesson with stretch denim.

My pants need to settle. Or something. I just ordered two pairs of summer pants and I thought I might have to send them back. Turns out I didn't, that they just needed to settle in.

Too much starch?
Yes, sometimes clothes start looking better throughout the day. But oftentimes, I find that it's the other way around. They start looking good, but it all goes downhill from there.

I've had tight jeans loosen up, waists expand so that I need a belt, and leather pieces fit better as they are worn. Stiff pieces soften and behave better with several washings.

Interesting! I've had the opposite - more like Shevia - things bagging out over the day. And shoes becoming tight as feet swell.

Rachy it sounds like your body needs to settle down. That goes for me too. As for clothes, jeans often loosen up during the day. And shoes sometimes start out so well and then decide to shrink!

I put on this dress this morning (sorry no pic) and thought this would be its last wear. Admittedly, I'd only had three hours sleep. But it wasn't quite accommodating my shape. Don't know how to describe it. The waist wouldn't pull down so the shoulders were bagging. But now, it's looking real nice, falling correctly.

And also, if this isn't TMI... I had cleavage this morning that had to be covered up and now I don't, lol.

Could it all have been undergarment malfeasance? Body shape changing on the fly?
