Definitely. If I have to fuss and slouch and contort to get the proportions to look right, then I feel the outfit probably needs to be adjusted. Kind of like when a photographer says a model's face looks great from any angle... I would prefer that my outit look good from more than one angle.

Not really Una, it is the goofy faces I pull which make me wince and retake the shot but for the most part my clothing photgraphs as I see them in the mirror.

One difference though, my hemlines are always shorter than I think.

My self timer can take multiple shots at once - I usually set it to 4. If I don't get one I like, I readjust and take 4 more. There's never a set where all of the shots are great, there's usually 1 standout from a group of ho-hum photos.

Usually the first picture I take is the best, even though I take 3-4 of them, sometimes more. But yes, a better outfit photographs better. Sometimes I don't know my outfit is "off" until I struggle to take a (good) picture of it.

Today's outfit was captured perfectly in one take. Normally I take countless pictures before one comes out looking the way I feel it should, and then I worry that it's deceptive.

Does this happen to you?
