I don't shop with other people very often, but my mom, sister, and I are all good shopping buddies together and often encourage each other to try new things or experiment with trends that we aren't quite comfortable yet. I've made some (not unwelcome) suggestions for items friends might want to try or picked out items if we were shopping together for them to try on.<br /> I'd still like to work my YLF magic on my jeans/tee shirts/sneakers-wearing boyfriend, but I'm happy as long as he is dressing appropriately for more formal situations and don't want to pick on him for what he wears when he isn't at work. We put her in some slimming and well-fitting dark wash straight leg jeans, a gray/black striped t-shirt, button-up white tunic, silver flats, and some bright pink chunky jewelry.</p> <p>She also got herself some gorgeous metallic gold flats with pointy toes and open work details and a tunic-style belted gray sweater and some skinnies. </p> <p>She won't let me post pics though. </p> <p>Not only is she looking modern and fashionable but both outfits knock a good 10 pounds off her figure. Once we got home we tried a lot of different combinations and took pics to help us decide which looked the best. </p> <p>It was fun and nothing I could have done without having spent time here learning! </p>
