Can you try it on in your area for free? If so, I think it's worth a try. It is so going to depend on how the fabric falls, the length of your torso etc.

It's burgundy, and it looks more solid than marled.

Thanks fabs!

UmmLila, thanks for the IRL info...yes I will pass. I was picturing it with heavier material. Being on sale I thought it would be a winter weight item. Definitely not going for special undergarment requirements!!

Is the color burgundy or does it have an orange tone? I think of rust as orange but onscreen the image looks burgundy.

I tried something similar on a while back and I liked it but not enough to buy it. It was too short and just not comfortable. I would describe it as moderately flattering for an apple:)

I did try this dress on but ultimately returned it. I am somewhat IT, somewhat rectangle. The reason I sent it back is that the fabric seemed too flimsy for a dress. It's the same as the t-shirts. It seemed like a very thin layer over the rear (requiring careful undergarment choice). Also I think that for the dress to stay up (on me at least) the fabric should have been more spandex-y.

I ended up with an asymmetrical sleeve top in this color, which I quite like.

I agree with Isabel! I really like the idea of it but it depends on how that middle fits in reality.

I think you'd have to try it on. At first I thought with the draping it might conceal a little belly but the draping is low so it might highlight it.
It's pretty nice, worth checking out.

I'm getting to the point I may need to start reversing those...Apple/IT. Currently I think Apple may be my defining feature. Would this type dress hide an apple belly or highlight it?
