I don't have much time in the mornig and if I need to go to Uni late I also sleep longer. Because my flat is fairly dark and there isn't so much natural light I always take my pics with the lights on. I try to avoid the flash by increasing the photoresponse on my camera. The colors are sometimes not completely right regardless. You can see that best on my hair which often has a reddish tint to it in the pics. But Una posted a lovely complement about backlighting on a recent thread, and it reminded me that I've come to prefer pics taken in the afternoon.</p> <p>The light is softer here in the evenings, and I'm more relaxed and less rushed at the end of the day. And I often don't have time to post until the evening, regardless of when I took the pic. So, apart from having to comb my hair and reapply some lipstick, I've come to prefer taking WIWs in the afternoons. If it is late afternoon, and the picture is backlit, I sometimes need to put the flash on to prevent a dark 'sillouette' shot.</p> <p>How about you? When do you take your WIWs? </p>
