I should say that for work, I have a laptop that at work gets pulled into a larger screen...we have security on our work stuff that makes it hard to use your personal computer or laptop, so I will always (or a least for the next 10ish years) have accesses to a "real" computer. Unfortunately I've been pretty much glued to it the last few weeks--I'm going to present a paper at a history conference. Sometimes I have as many as 20 files open: theses, digitized historical newspaper articles, photos, and my drafts. I also use it for Skyping with friends and family. And for scanning and storing family photos.</p> <p>Lately I haven't been using my laptop stuff. I do use it for personal stuff. My old iPad ran out of storage space so I just got a new one--smaller, lighter, and much faster. Easy to carry around with me. I like to use it to read Kindle books.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dh has so many computers that I've lost track. He loves tech stuff and always has to have the latest version. I do get annoyed when he leaves his laptop set up on our kitchen table.
