I've been told I have a Canadian accent...oot and aboot, etc. I speak French fluently, but have a broad and rather atrocious accent. </p> <p>Early days I worked in radio as a writer in the 'creative department' - namely advertising! For years we fooled everyone when we answered the phone even though we are ten years apart in age. She's been living in the south so long that she has a tiny bit of an accent now, but we still sound very similar.
