Over time, I think my internal thermostat has adjusted. I'd rather be a bit too cold than too hot. And cold weather makes for easier outfit planning, IME.</p> <p>I really hate being overheated, which is easy to do in humid, sweltering VA. I lose my energy, get hives and become very cranky. Probably between 72-75 degrees. Anything above or below is uncomfortable, but I'd much rather be cold than hot. It's easy to make a cup of tea and put on a sweater. Cooling down is much harder, and I absolutely despise sweating. I never go to the beach or spend time outdoors in the summer because i just can't stand it. I get heat headaches and feel nauseous. I tend to acclimate to where I am. Here in FL I get used to mid to high 80's as comfortable and then go back to Tahoe and FREEZE. Conversely, after a year or so in Tahoe and running around with just a sweatshirt or light jacket for most 30-40 degree days, I come to FL and die when it hits 85. Luckily, after pulling this stunt on my body 4 times now, I know I will eventually get used to the weather again and be okay.
