Blah, I don't know how people deal with returns. Every once in a while I'll get the itch to buy a bunch of stuff online, and end up returning almost all of it. I prefer to preshop online, it helps keep me focused on what looks good on me when I get to the store. I get easily confused going into a store without plan, and It takes so long to look through everything. Maybe I should just stick to preshopping for now.

I agree that I have to learn the brand before I can even make a guess as to what size I need, since the charts are pretty useless and sizes vary so much.

Sorry, I can't offer any advice. I generally try to order from stores that I'm familiar with so I have a good idea of their sizing. I've learned that you can't really trust the sizing information on most sites so ordering is pretty much trial and error. I just usually expect that and it makes my experience a little easier to handle.

Oh, and the items were from different brands, all somewhat high-end, and some were from brands geared towards juniors. This was really surprising, because in relatively expensive juniors clothing stores, I usually go in expecting to fit into a x-small, and end up wearing a medium. What's going on? Maybe I just have bad luck.

Just received a big shipment a few days ago, and all the tops were HUGE. My measurements are about 31-26-36, meaning that I do have a very small bust, but all of the tops were too big everywhere else as well. At least one of the tops was around 3 sizes too big. It was supposedly a small, but it was far too big even on my sister who has a much larger bust, and is usually a medium/large. Normally I would brush this off as vanity sizing, but it was listed as fitting a women with 26-36 measurements. It was not a loose flowing top either. It was a simple, fitted button-up shirt. Everything has already been returned. Anyway, the point is that this has happened to me before, even though I'm not exceptionally tiny, and I would love to find an online shop that fits fairly true to size. Any suggestions? I've had good luck in real life anthroplologie stores and urban outfitters, but I might not feel the same way if I actually ordered from them online. Does any one else have the problem of items seeming to be vanity sized, even though they list actual measurements that are much smaller?
