I am a HUGE fan of Cold Water Creek. I love thier clothes the jeans fit will and after the initial sticker shock wore off and I realized they put clothes on sale fairly regularly which for me is a bonus. They have great colors and unique styles. I love going in there. I find her pieces fresh, clean, simple but not plain. I wear her tops to death pretty much. There's another boutique called Idealogie (their website doesn't show what they carry) that I like to go into all the time. It was started in Victoria, over on Vancouver Island, about ten or fifteen years ago, and back then they sold pretty much just basic tee shirts with interesting things printed on them. They have evolved over the years, and several years ago added a Vancouver shop too, and I love it so much that I keep returning over and over. It now seems that half my wardrobe comes from there. They cater to exactly my demographic (30-something women who no longer want to dress like teenagers but like arty, stylish, figure-flattering things) and almost everything suits my taste. The fun, quirky prints are still right up my alley (a lot of them are nature- and science-inspired), although many of the items I've bought from them over the years are not printed. Their stuff is reasonably priced and well-made. In particular, I have several of their Hester skirts, and it's my go-to skirt for all seasons. I just got a new one -- black and white stripe!
