In case of cobalt for you, it is so flattering and it makes you stand out in the best of ways. I think you need a really good excuse not to wear it more often, because you do glow in it. So, to go with that and to answer the aspect of what I feel looks best on me, it's red. But, for me personally, power colour would mean what makes me feel powerful/strong/energized. That is a different thing. I know there are other colours that, on top of flattering, make me feel good, so when I deliberately choose colour for some purpose the list would be: red (hear me out), purple (I'm on top of this), orchid (energy!), cobalt (calming, grounding), white (clarity), black (no nonsense). My own power color is emerald green. Every time I wear it I get complimented, it makes my skin glow and my eyes look greener. I have a few pieces in emerald but I don't wear it all that often. I think it's hard to wear an intense color like this every day. This is an interesting thread and I have tried to answer several times, only to walk away. I finally realized that it is because of the word powerful. I have never once even considered dressing to look powerful. I feel the most "me" in the shade of blue/grey/green that is heaviest on the the blue side. And kelly green. I love green! But powerful... Never. Oh and Gigi, blue is the basis of my wardrobe.  I look good in most blues, I just stay away from muddy or pastel versions, or anything veering into lavender/lilac. I'm with you, most blues work for me. But the single most flattering color on me is teal. Turquoise, greenish blues, and teal. It's my eye color and does for my skin what cobalt is doing for yours. Rust-cognac-terra cotta - coral (on the paler end) are also good. Burgundy is good. But what I like to wear and feel most powerful in is black, grey, soft white, ink or chambray-denim blue.
