I've since lost that weight and the skirt fits now, and I'm glad I didn't get rid of it. No-one ever knew! I heard about it from pregnant friends but never tried it due to the bad association until my mega-fashionista friend said she was wearing her jeans that way. We both gained some weight moving to Germany, go figure. I also picked up a couple of pairs of jeans that fit better, but replacing my whole jeans wardrobe over a couple pounds here and there is just not in the cards for me. They still fit me perfectly in every other way - and I love the look - I wear them with my squared toed black boots from the 90's - but . . . there is something about not being able to get that top botton buttoned that makes me wonder if they should go in my donate bag. </p>
