The exception is when I am sure that I won't see any of the same people. So I might wear the same outfit to work one day and then wear it on the weekend when I'm visiting BF (in another state), but I wouldn't if I was staying in town. One week between wearings is generally my rule of thumb. I do wear things like the same jeans with different tops all the time though - just not entire outfits or anything too distinctive. I have a fear of people seeing me in the same pieces too close together but I'm starting to realise that yes some people will remember what I was wearing but others won't, especially if the piece is not that distinctive.<br /> For example last week I wore a striped knit dress to uni on a week day and then wore it shopping in the weekend as well. It's a new piece and I love it but previously I would have waited another 3-4 weeks before wearing it again. It's more a matter of being weather appropriate and those windows can be short sometimes. Right now it is horribly hot so the very coolest outfits get lots of use. This week I've worn a nylon mesh White House/Black Market skirt and nylon mesh Sweet Pea top to 4 things and it's only Wednesday. I know I could grab something else but whether it's due to laziness (it's layed right out on the dresser still!) or just economy (wanting to get a few wears before washing) I do this pretty often. Most of the time I'll switch up a top or bottom at least but today I am going as an exact duplicate of yesterday - yikes! I'm not going to the same places in the same clothes, though.
