I ADORE them. I suspect my black blazer, scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, will likewise be awesome and not going back.</p> <p>One thing YLF has helped me with immensely is willingness to return items. Time was, stink dress would have stayed because it was cute and maybe it would stop smelling. And, unlike you with your good eye, my impulse buys were often flops.</p> <p>Now, I have a few strategies that I use to curb my impulse tendencies:<br /> * I pre-shop more online before I visit a store, which helps me actually make a list from home of what I need instead of what grabs my attention on the sales floor.<br /> * If I do take something home on impulse from a store, I make sure to check the return policy, and will actually return it if it does not work.<br /> * If I'm shopping online, unless there is a SCREAMING good deal on a product that I absolutely know will work that I need to buy right away (either I need the item ASAP, or the deal will soon expire), I'm more prone to keep items I'm looking at on a wish list or in my shopping cart for days to weeks. I research good deals online and really think about whether the item will meet my needs or fit a necessary hole before I click the "purchase" button.
