Be sure to look to see if they are sewn into the hemming so that the hem might come undone. In these cases I've trimmed the tag as close to the hem as possible. Or is it sewn flat on the corner of the scarf with all four corners basted to the fabric?<br /> Personally, I only cut them if they are attached like a flag. If they are laying flat, then I keep them on. I just cut a tag off a scarf today. I can sort of hide the tag if I am sitting one place, but if I am walking around, the scarf will move and then the tag shoes. </p> <p>That is a good idea to use a magnifying glass. Tags that are noticeable, scratchy, or long enough to stick out the back really bug me. I always cut them off. Just be very, very careful. Use a magnifying glass if it helps.
