I think I bought my current wallet -- a green Matt &amp; Nat -- about 5-6 years ago, and it still looks perfect, so I'll continue to use it. I figure the cost per use is down to fractions of pennies by now. So a good wallet you will use for years can be worth the price, if you find the one you really love. </p> <p>I change out handbags frequently, so I don't worry about matching wallet to bag. It just fits anywhere and has all the right pockets. I feel guilty though, because I have a beautiful leather wallet and don't use it. Neither do my leather one, which is purple and fucsia nor one I got as a present which is a very light brown with a cat on it. It bothers me that the green is a shade that clashes with my green trench coat. (Although really, you don't see the green till I open the wallet.) But otherwise I love having a teal wallet, and it goes with my neutral taupe and black purses and even coordinates, colorfully, with my purple purse. Before my current wallet, I had one that was a bright blue that is almost turquoise.
