My cankles (and I don't even have slim ankles) have often been happy with that configuration of strap. Lower contrast colours usually help, but if you actually want to train the eye to follow the strap, black could be the one. Do you think that a more neutral/lighter would be better than black? I ask because they also come in a mushroom colour.</p> <p>I'm inclined to think that rather than elongating my leg the mushroom will just make me look "all leg/ankle". Hard to say.
