And a person can get away with a lot more in flat sandals than in heels, IMO. They look comfortable and fine to me, not obviously big at all. But the only test that matters, IMO, is how they feel. They feel snug in the straps but the footbed looks slightly too big. They are on clearance so I should probably try a smaller one before returning these, if it is decided these are too big. They don't come in half sizes.</p> <p>Please forgive my chipped toenail polish. Some pics show more space at the front where I am pushing my foot to back of sandal but when I don't do that the space naturally splits between front &amp; back so I have a little excess at each end, making the front not appear too big but I don't think the space is supposed to be at back. It looks like my toes are hanging over the front in one pic but that is just the angle.
