I personally prefer flap pockets to give my bottom half a little visual weight--so I dont remove them. But I cant stand the pocket flap sticking out in weird places. So I sew them shut. I'm liking them more and more. I will surely wear a longer top with them, I just threw on a shorter top to show you how they fit. The only problem is that the shorts have flap pockets and when I wear a longer top the pockets make it bulge out. I'm thinking I will have the flaps sewn shut.
