I have an EF top in a similar fabric (same content, I believe), and it shrunk slightly just going through the washer - no dryer. It did not change enough that I cannot wear, it, but it did change the fit and I am not particularly happy with that.

I machine wash and hang mine to dry, and no shrinkage, either in the skirted leggings or harem pants.

I did throw my EF harem pants in the dryer for one cycle last summer, and they shrunk a little length-wise, but it's much harder to tell if they shrunk width-wise due to the exess amount of fabric. I've been debating doing that with the skirted leggings (mine are slightly loose) but I'm a little warier because I like the length of the skirt where it is and don't want it to shrink too much.

I have a lot of the EF viscose jersey pieces, including the original harem pants and the slouchy jersey. And some tunic tops and tees, and the fold-over skirt. So far nothing has shrunk or faded, or pulled or bagged/stretched out either. I wash on delicate/cold in a laundry bag and line dry. I tried to get the skirt to shrink to accommodate weight loss. Warm water wash and warm dryer just made the hem ripple.

EF fashionistas: do the EF skirted leggings shrink if you put them through the wash & dryer?

It seems that EF uses a lot of the same fabrications, so this question is not just related to the skirted leggings. I have also added some slouchy pants in the same fabric, which I have yet to wash. If those shrunk I'm afraid they'd be too small. The EF skirted leggings could afford some shrinkage so I could experiment.

As I mentioned on another thread today, I also invested in the EF merino drapey pants. Though XSP, they were huge on me -- all over, length, width, everything. But so incredibly cozy and warm and comfy, I kept them for lounge & sleepwear. My DH then accidentally ran them through the wash & dryer (such a sweetie for doing my laundry while I was away on a business trip). They shrunk --- dramatically. Now they are a perfect fit! Enough so, that I plan to wear out of the house soon.

But it got me wondering about the jersey knits... will those shrink too?
