Plus there are buttons that go about 1/3 of the way down- and I'd prefer just pull on with no buttons. When a print is the perfect colour/scale/etc it can be hard to resist, even if other elements of the garment are subpar. Any chance you could save them by turning them into scarves? If there's a large enough area without seams, you could cut out and hem (or even leave raw edge, depending on the weave) a square or oblong and use them to liven up solid colour outfits, without the fit hassle. If you're a scarf-wearer, that is. </p> <p>I did something similar with a bubblegum pink linen skirt. Unexpected combo, I know, that's why I couldn't resist it! I have a similar thing -- I won't buy a print now unless it incorporates white, very light grey or blue, or silver. In other words, every print has to have at least a smidge of my hair colour in it. I just need to be a lot pickier with what I buy from now on!<br /> The plan is to keep for now and hopefully find a good replacement in the fall, then consign the others. But I like the tops otherwise so I had them shortened to be less tunic-like, which gave them new life. I also regularly have sides of tops taken in to rein in extra width. I wear them because they go with denim, brown, and black pants, and they work well for mild winter and transitional days. But none of them feel fab.<br /> Blouse 1- the cognac, teal print has the nicest shape. It's long enough to be bum covering, so can be worn with more of my pants. But- it has these gold studs which make it feel more Western and it's poly, which I would rather not wear.<br /> Blouse 2- black, brown, navy has a print that I love, and the fabric is nicer. But it is quite short and Very voluminous in front. I thought I could tame it by clipping the back or wearing a vest over, but neither worked well.<br /> Blouse 3- the beige, navy floral matches my pants. I thought I'd wear them together, but it's A Lot. Tried a vest over, but it was like having a vest over pajamas. The length and boxiness are just not great on my shape, though I love the print. It may be ok with a narrow skirt, but by the time it's warm enough for skirts, it's too warm for sleeves.<br /> Can someone lend me a magic wand to turn these 3 not quite right blouses into 1 or more that's perfect for me?<br /> I swear most of my wardrobe feels like this! </p>
