Red booties could really be a statement item for you. I wouldn't worry about matching, because mismatching is in (Net-a-Porter has finally confirmed this ;>)

Maybe what you should do is just keep an eye open for a pair to wow you.

All these fab posts with red booties has me wanting them. I love YLF but I need to probably spend the money replacing clothes that don't work. I wonder if I have a boot hole I guess is my question.

I love red, I love boots, I have a tomato red purse & a dark red purse & a couple of pashmina's with a lot of red in them. I also have a small closet & am trying to be more of a minimalist. I have many boots in black & various shades of brown because they are neutral. Red could easily be as versatile for me but do I need them?

For booties though I only have 3 black pairs. 1 high stilletto pair, that I rarely wear due to fussy feet & casual lifestyle, 1 high chunky heel lace up pair that I may wear more than the last pair but they are new, 1 flat suede Minnetonka fringe tramper that are casual.

If I get red they will chop me off as I will most likely wear them with bare legs or a bottom that is not red. I don't want to buy them then have to buy things to wear with them. Proportionally my legs are short. I am long in the torso.
