I've already commented, but I meant to add something I do when the weather is glum and I can't get out to do things. I 'window shop'...online. I visit different sites and put together outfits I like. Even 'shop' for shoes to go with those outfits. When finished, I make sure to clear the shopping cart and believe it or not I do feel better. I shopped without spending a dime.

You have gotten some really good advice from the ladies who have commented here. You certainly seem to be experiencing buyer's remorse. You sound very lonely and not needing the things you buy, just trying to fill in the time. When I'm sad and blue, I try doing something for someone else. It gives me purpose and a satisfying feeling. My heart goes out to you.

I don't think you have a problem, but you should maybe try to find something different and less exhausting to do with your time. I think I know what you're talking about, I do this too sometimes, although I got a lot better about really buying things when I'm in this mood. It's not about shopping at that moment, but about filling my time and keeping busy, so I don't have to sit down and think and worry about things. Just try to find something you like to do at these moments besides shopping. And if you like to shop at these moments, do it. But then you also have to admit that you're in one of these moods and wait with buying anything. You could keep a list with things you thought about buying, and read it through later to decide if you want to go back for anything. I often realize some hours later that I don't really need or want certain items I thought about buying and am glad I didn't do it in the end.

I shop and return constantly. It's definitely a bit disordered (for me anyway) but if it's not affecting your life negatively or getting in the way with things I don't think it's a big deal. Everyone needs their vice!

I think maybe you should try immersing yourself in a different hobby or learn a new one. Give it your best shot, before you decide you have an addiction or are out of control. Sometimes, when the mind is feeling obsessive (and missing a loved one *and* being in love in the first place can both be pretty darn obsession-building and bordering on obsession of a sort), it will apply that pattern in other areas as well. See if you can break the pattern, before you start to panic.

Ok, I am missing my man and to supress those blues and wooes, I shop and shop till I drop and then later when I am back home I regret my purchases. I regret them so much that I do not find them appropriate enough to show and seek help with you ladies. So the next day I return them even without seeking your opinions or trying to make it work out even once.
The only sane activity I do nowadays is reply to all of your posts with enthusiam as if nothings wrong with me.
Is anything wrong with me? Do I need medical help cuz somewhere I read (Google rocks) that shopping and then repenting is kinda addiction that needs help. Help!!!!
