I keep the old one around for cold weather layering for really casual days (dog park, etc) because it's so easy to launder, unlike other jackets. I've never had white jeans before. I'm not sure what jackets I usually wear in summer. I think it's always been a wardrobe hole for me. I had a cotton moto but I gave it away cos it sat weird when undone. I usually only wear wool blazers in winter &amp; not any in summer cos cotton &amp; linen ones tend to look scruffy &amp; I think of blazers as being something more I don't know, pressed or dressy or something. I will look at the Gibson blazer.</p> <p>ETA: now if I keep white jeans (gonna need to post pics) I may finally get to wear my denim blazer. It's not SO cropped that it looks odd w jeans and it hits right about where the waistband of my jeans hits. I also mainly wear mine with skirts and dresses, but have worn it several times also with cords and white denim. This is mostly because 95% of my long pants are denim and I don't do denim on denim (even if they are different colors, I don't like the uniform texture). But, like Aida says, if you wear a lot of trousers, then a longer denim jacket might be a good option. It really depends on what you plan to wear it with more; if you wear jeans often and won't wear them together, it may be fine to just keep a cropped one for dresses. I don't want to buy more than I need. I don't have a lot of space. I would wear the cropped one with dresses. I could wear it with jeans if the shirt was long enough to hide the muffin top I tend to get with jeans. Even without muffin top I think cropped might look better with a longer top over jeans or pants. I am definitely keeping a blue faded cropped denim jacket. </p> <p>Question is do I need a high hip length one as well? I have a denim blazer in that length in a dark wash but I was wondering if I needed a faded hip length Levis trucker &amp; a cropped faded Levis trucker? Thanks </p>
